Bulletin Board Events
This page is a place for Young Professional or Management Club members to suggest their own events. There are a lot of events that we think our members would really enjoy, but maybe don’t meet the criteria for a formally organized YP or CMC event.
Looking to organize a pickup sporting game? Need a sub for a team? Know about a cool concert coming up, or really impressed with a volunteer opportunity and looking for others to join?
Use the form below to suggest upcoming events for other YP members.
(Please aim to submit ideas at least one week in advance)

Due to popular demand we are bringing back our high ropes event! For those that don’t know, high-ropes is a mix of hiking trail and obstacle course that is hung in the trees. After you are strapped in, you’re free to explore the course as quickly or as slowly as you would like. Just don’t look down! This particular location has ten trails, ranging in difficulty from beginner to expert. For those that are nervous don’t worry, they let five year olds on the entry level courses so I think we can all manage. Also this year we will be hosting the event in the evening to avoid some of the summertime heat.
Normally admission tickets are $45 for three hours, however we will be offering them for $20 for members. Tickets can be bought here: Eventbrite - High Ropes
Additionally, waivers will need to be filled out, and can be done beforehand here: High Ropes - Waiver Please do so to avoid wait time at the park.
Note on apparel: Wear well-fitting clothing that does not allow anything to hang loose or get tangled in cables and rope. Long hair and jewelry should not be left loose. Sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended. Flip-flops and sandals are not acceptable. Please bring or wear shoes that have a fully closed toe. No exceptions can be made for shoes.
